Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Arkavio Service. Breaching this AUP is a breach of the Terms and may lead to suspension or termination of your access.
You must not
- Break the law — use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation (including data protection law).
- Upload unlawful or infringing content— submit data you do not have the right to use, that infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy, or that is defamatory, abusive or obscene.
- Misuse personal data — upload special-category personal data, or provide personal data about others (such as client contacts or staff) without a lawful basis to do so.
- Compromise security— attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other organisations’ data, or underlying systems; probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission; or circumvent authentication, rate limits or access controls.
- Disrupt the Service — introduce malware, launch denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise interfere with or impose an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape or harvest — use bots, scrapers or automated means to extract data from the Service other than through features or APIs we provide for that purpose.
- Resell or misuse access — resell, sub-licence or share access to the Service beyond your Authorised Users, or reverse-engineer, copy or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
- Impersonate or mislead — impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Abuse communications — use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
Your responsibilities
- Keep credentials secure and ensure your Authorised Users comply with this AUP.
- Use the Service’s calculators and outputs as professional aids — verify outputs before relying on them.
- Tell us promptly about any security issue or misuse you become aware of.
Consequences and reporting
We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other proportionate action, in line with the Terms of Service. Where appropriate we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy.
